Chase Young X Reader: Unexpected Part 7

"Come on (Name)!" Raimundo insisted.

"I'm coming."  you huffed not even bothering to put up your hair.

Master Monk Guan had just arrived from far away and came to visit the monks. Apparently, this was about some important meeting with the elder monks.

You had no idea what the meeting was about but you were curious to see the monk that Omi devotes over.

You walked out with Kimiko and Raimundo to see Omi along with Clay speaking with a man who was holding a spear.

"Master Monk Guan!" Kimiko waved her greeting.

The man turned and smiled at all of you. "Hello young ones. It's good to see you again."

"Master Monk Guan!" Omi ran up to him. "I cannot wait to show you Two Tigers Catching Snake move that I have learned!"

"The little one over here 'as been dying to show ya." Clay added.

"Than in that case I shall look forward to it." Master Monk Guan smiled.

Your head was beginning to spin and you suddenly saw flashes.

Both of you were training.

While glaring eyes burned with jealousy and hatred.

"This is (Name)," Kimiko introduced. "She's our new monk and has begun the role of being the Dragon of Thunder."

Master Monk Guan had a forlorn yet humble expression written on his face. "It is a pleasure to meet you. I hope you lead a great life as a monk."

"Thank you sir." you responded. "I will do my best."

Why did his voice sound like he was in distress yet he seemed over joyed with excitement?

"Young ones excuse me please," Master Monk Guan addressed. "I must be ready for the meeting."

He walked away into the distance and you ignored your friends for a moment to focus on those visions you just had.

A scarier thought came into mind....

Did you know Chase Young before?

They were 1500 years old from what you heard and used to be best of friends. So maybe you knew them when you were younger.

However they both looked different in the visions.

It's not like you knew them 1500 years ago.

Once again night crept upon you as another day of training passed.

You went to go see Chase (much to your displeasure) and had to hurry. Not wanting an evil villain pissed off at you would be very unwise.

Plus you wanted to ask him some questions.

That alone is very unwise.

Suddenly you were there at the destination with Chase Young looking in your direction as if he knew where you would appear.

Stalker...

"You're late my little lamb." his voice matched irritation.

"Drop the disturbing pet names and answer my question." you glared.

If he was surprised by the sudden boldness in your voice, he didn't show it.

"Did I know either you or Master Monk Guan before I became a monk?" you questioned.

His eyes widened slightly before responding. "It's about time you knew the truth kitten."

"So is it true?" you inquired.

"Yes it is. They know it and show do I." Chase nodded.

"Wait," you became puzzled. "They? Who's they?"

Suddenly Chase tossed you the Mind Reader Conch as he instructed. "Use it on the monks back at the temple."

Frowning you activated the artifact by saying it's name than listened.

Poor girl, she's got no idea what's going on....

....Kimiko?

These meetings at night are getting to be a pain in the foot and they've been going on for weeks. I don't think it is right to be lying to her but we must honor what Master Monk Guan says.

Omi was hiding something from you? What did Master Monk Guan say?

Since she doesn't know yet, it is unclear whether or not we should ask her. If she has any memories of her past life 1500 years ago or not that could make her our friend. However that means she could become our worst enemy...

Master Monk Guan just said something to confirm your suspicions but it was far bigger than you could imagine.

You once lived 1500 years ago and you knew him along with Chase...

We can't tell her! That would make her our enemy and plus what if she already is?!

The voice of Raimundo was like screeching nails on a chalkboard. What right does he or anyone have to not tell her the truth?!

You tossed the conch on the ground with your eyes glued to the ground in disbelief and hurt. How could this happen? Why did they do that to begin with?

Out of the blue, two warm arms were wrapped around your waist and hugged you. Chase Young was hugging you!

His warm breath reached your ear as he whispered. "It's okay...I'm here for you...."

For once you believed him.
