Seto Kaiba X Reader: Significant

You were driving down to The Kaiba Corporation to continue working for you ignorant and selfish boss Seto Kaiba. The only reason you worked with the arrogant man was that so you could afford for your brothers operation.

Your poor 11 year old brother had Leukemia but thankfully wasn't on the worst stage of it. He can be treated but only till your family had enough money for it. You volunteered having a job so that you could help save him. Your brother and you were great friends.

As you pulled up to the employee drive way you sighed heavily and whispered. "Remember what you're doing this for."

You walked into the building nodding to a few familiar employees that you were acquainted with. Then you stopped and gave a judge-mental glare to the CEO office. Boy you wanted to turn around and leave so badly.

With a heavy sigh you lifted your head up and knocked. "Mr. Kaiba it's me Miss, (L/N)."

"Come in." you heard with mono-toned voice.

You walked in and saw him where he was everyday, on his laptop working on something most likely.

Surprisingly, you saw a younger boy playing on his Nintendo DS. You figured this was his brother Mokuba Kaiba.

"Hiya!" Mokuba waved.

"Hello." you nodded.

"(Y/N), you have work to do." Kaiba grumbled pointing at some files on his desk.

Can't even say 'hi' without getting in trouble.

With a nod you grabbed the files and felt Seto's eyes on you. Which almost made you shiver in a creepy way. You were working at a smaller desk in the next room over to Kaibas to began working.

After Seto yelled at his assistant I decided to be more quiet even though I tempted to tell him to ask for her phone number. What are brothers for anyways? I knew he was starting to develop feelings for her but he always pushed her away and denied his feelings.

She seems very nice but there was also something kind of...off about her. Like she has this worried look in her eye but it's never around Seto. So what could it be?

I grabbed my tablet and began searching around for something on (Y/N). Maybe there's something that could help me convince Seto to ask her out or to see if she's up to no good. Who knows?

Than I saw something interesting. She had a brother named (B/N). I remember the kids in school were  talking about how an 11 year old boy got cancer and was in the hospital. Apparently his family was doing everything they could do to support him and it wasn't enough to get him the expensive treatment.

Is that why she's always been concerned?

Seto was still working but I had to show him. "Hey Seto."

"What?" he questioned.

"Did you know anything about (Y/N)s brother?" I asked.

"No, why?" his eyes never left the computer.

"Apparently her 11 year old brother has Leukemia Cancer and his family can't afford the pricey treatment." I explained.

Seto stopped typing to glance at (Y/N)s direction and then turned to me. "Is that so?"

"Yeah." I confirmed.

With a grunt Seto went into (Y/N)s office. I secretly hoped I didn't make a mistake.

You were almost done with the last file when Kaiba stepped in without knocking (of course).

"Is there something you need Mr. Kaiba?" you asked.

"Is it true your brother has Leukemia?" Seto inquired.

Your eyes widened in astonishment. How did he know about (B/N)?

"How did-?" you began.

"Answer the question." he interrupted.

With a frown you answered. "Yes he does."

"Is it true your family can't afford the treatment?" Kaiba asked.

You tried to not let yourself get over emotional with the fact that your brother was having a hard time getting healthy. "Yes."

He stared at you for a long moment before finally saying. "I would like to help pay for his treatment."

Now you were instantly flabbergasted. Seto Kaiba wanted to help your brother with his operation? There didn't seem to be any lie in his eyes so you finally stammered out. "R-Really?"

He nodded. "Yes."

Without any control you stood up and walked over to hug him. You wanted to cry with happiness and scream in joy at the same time. Your brother was finally getting the help he deserved!

Than you froze and realized whom you were hugging. Before you could pull away and apologize his arms wrapped around yours as well. Than you felt lips kiss your forehead.

That made you blush. When you went to look up at him he kissed you directly on the lips. Seto ran his tongue over your lips, you opened your mouth to give him access. As soon as his tongue entered your mouth, you sucked on it gently and Kaiba moaned against you. When you both finally had to pull apart for air, Kaiba rested his forehead against yours. “I've wanted to do that since the moment I laid eyes on you.”

You looked at him in awe. "Really?"

He nodded. "I'm sorry that I was hard on you. I was rejecting my feelings for you like a fool. than I realized why you put up with me so much and that's because you care. It made me understand that if I did push you away I would be giving up on someone as significant as you."

With a smile on your face you kissed his cheek. "Thank you for everything."

Your brother was lively and Seto Kaiba became your boyfriend (which came with a raise).
